What is the best way to live?

If you are too generous, you sacrifice too much for others.
If you are too selfish, you lose the love of others.
If you are too cheap, you will never get the best.
If you are too extravagant, you lose all your money.
If you spend all your money to make more money, when can you spend?
If you spend all your money on toys, is it a waste?
If you spend all your time relaxing, when will you be productive for relaxation in the future?
If you spend all your time working, when will you enjoy what you have gained?

If you spend all your life focused on any one thing, is it not a waste? You walk into a museum; will you stare at exhibit number 1 until the museum closes?

A Game

Sometimes when I play video games or watch a drama, I get so into it, I feel what the characters feel. I fear for them; I feel like I'm struggling for them. I forget that it is only a game or drama.

What if I am stuck in a room with no exits and there is nothing but a video game. And I get into it after awhile since there's nothing else to do. Will I forget that I am in a room after awhile? Will my mind push away the memory of being in the room since it is so boring? If I was stuck there for an eternity, why not? I would rather be the person in the game.

Then, is my life now the game?
